    Join us at the Arch for a Swing Dance Event to support the Joe Garbus WBA Scholarship Fund!

    Thursday, June 11th, 2026
    • 6:00-7:00PM:  Instruction in East Coast Swing Dance

    • 7:00-8:00PM:  Open dance with music provided!

    The Walnut Beach Arch located at the corner of Naugatuck Avenue and East Broadway

    Wear supportive shoes or sneakers. No partner necessary!

    Suggested donation $10
    All proceeds to benefit the Joe Garbus WBA Scholarship Fund to support Milford Graduates!

    Run of Show:
    8-9am- Racer Check-in
    8:45am- Racer Meeting
    9:00am- Long Course start
    9:05am- Short Course start
    11:00am- Award ceremony (by M/F, first, second, third, age brackets)
    12:15pm- SURFRIDER SPRINTS!

    Race options:
    5 Mile Long course (Charles Island Challenge)

    Race boards up to 14′
    Kayaks,Surfski,OC1, OC2, OC6

    2.5 Mile Short course (Land Ho!)

    Half Mile Youth race (Arrr Matey)

    Surfrider Sprints (Pirate’s Booty Challenge) All skill levels welcomed. 18+ only, unless parent approves of youth participation. Register day of only at Surfrider tent. SUP boards only.

    Friday-Timed Trials- You against the clock. 1 Mile out and back. Cash Purse

    Please note:

    • Rain or Shine! Delay for lightning. No refunds.

    • Finisher medals for first 150 guaranteed

    Kayaking and Paddleboarding (Scoot & Paddle) 11:30am-2:00pm

    Used Board Swap- Pick up used boards at a great rate or unload your inventory to make room for new!

    Dancing, hula hoop, free kayaking and paddleboarding after the race, craft tent, wellness tents, beach yoga,  games, and more. Follow on Facebook for updates
