The Walnut Beach Association proudly hosts a variety of engaging and community-building events in our beautiful neighborhood. Since 1999, the Annual Walnut Beach Arts & Crafts Festival has been a fixture of the Summer months. Initially the Festival was known as Walnut Beach Day and was mainly attended by the local community. Quickly the Festival grew in attendance and in vendors seeking to share their products, crafts and services with the public.

Thousands of music-lovers flock to Walnut Beach each Summer for our Annual Summer Concert Series! Free concerts typically take place under the Devon Rotary Pavilion at Walnut Beach starting on Saturday of 4th of July Weekend, followed by every Sunday afternoon from 4-7 p.m. through Labor Day weekend (see our Calendar and News & Events pages for information on this year’s concerts). Our FREE concerts present a variety of some of our best local musicians, and rely on the generosity of sponsors and donors to keep them going and growing!

To support our Concert Series, we host an annual fundraiser dinner dance. This fundraiser is fully-catered, features raffles and prizes, and attendees are always entertained by amazing live music and dancing! The cost of tickets fully supports our efforts to continue providing the best free concert series in Connecticut!

A new addition to our yearly lineup of events is the Walnut Beach Cornhole Tournament! This event is a favorite among both dedicated and casual Cornholers, attracts hundreds of entrants and onlookers, and features great prizes and giveaways driven by our sponsors. A DJ keeps the vibes going as players toss their way to the winner’s circle.

Each year our local presence has increased through advertising in local publications and radio, memberships in several business and community associations, our website, social media and more! Most recently, we play host to more than 3,000 attendees for our Festival and hundreds more for each concert throughout the season.
